Evening. You are in the black lounger and Carol is reading her book. Carol, Kim and you drove to Delaware and voted about noon then stopped at The Warehouse on Rt. 23 not far from where you voted. You had a good lunch, took Kim home then you and Carol shopped for a Welcome mat for outside the front door, after success in finding one you stopped for a Graeter's before mailing a letter at the Orange Township Post Office. - Amorella
2147 hours. I am glad we voted early, to registration office was busy but no lines which was just as well because it has been raining most of the last two days. I decided to share those poems dropped in yesterday with my Facebook friends. I had about ten 'thumbs up' from former students of long ago. I had 83 hits on Encounters in Mind the last two days; 68 from the Ukraine and 56 from Norway, even 20 from the U.S.
What were the top hits from the last week? - Amorella
2156 hours. The notes are: "Existential Transcendentalists", 4 August 2011; "Heart's Reasoning / DNA test", 15 March 2015 and third was "'Thought in a Black Hole", 2 May 2014. I read through the top ones periodically to remind me of what I wrote. I don't understand why readers in the Ukraine and Norway would be so interested out the blue. Usually the Google stat connected with the blog has a hit or two, but sometimes they are grouped such as this. I had 505 hits last month. I have no idea why. All time history: 106,170 hits from May 2010 to November 2018. The top three countries: U.S. with 52,056 hits; Russia with 9013; and Germany with 4944. In all those years I never had more than fifteen or so comments and they were clarifications with a few positive, no negative that I can remember. This blog has 38 hits so far and all but one are from the United States. I am comfortable with low numbers. I'm surprised I have that many hits. I expect one to three a week and I expect two out of the three to be accidental hits. This is essentially a private blog between me and myself, on what it is to be existing as a human being. We are a product of nature and evolution, perhaps that is alien enough.
