14. Notes - to set for an angelic presence

You just returned from your bi-monthly Class of 1960 supper which was most enjoyable. You, Fritz M. and George M. have lunch together on Wednesday next. George and his wife Donna just moved back to Westerville after a career and earlier retirement time in the Chicago area. Donna is also in your Class of 1960. Earlier today your focus returned to angels and definitions as you want to further define, objectively if possible, the difference you experienced with an angelic-like presence with that of what people traditionally think Angels are. - Amorella

2048 hours. Yesterday's blog reminded me in a rather unsettling way, about how I view (not literally) my 'witnessed' angelic presence.

I, your Amorella, will help guide you along such lines. The focus is on the 'Presence' aspect and how it affected your physical body and how it affected your thinking both rationally and spiritually. Basically, this is a description of how it is when your heartansoulanmind is set within the event-horizon of an immortal spiritual consciousness. - Amorella

2104 hours. Shouldn't I begin with a definition of an angel first?

You covered this several times in the 'Encounters in Mind' blog. - Amorella

2107 hours. I don't feel ready to immerse myself in that spiritual setting currently.

You are still apprehensive about how that spiritual setting affected you. - Amorella

2110 hours. I was afraid I would not be able to distinguish between an evil angel and a good angel. This is because of all my years teaching selections of John Milton's Paradise Lost. I remember one of my favorite 'teaching' thoughts was asking my students "How would you know there was an Angel in the room?" Then asking theoretically, "How would you know if it was a good Angel or an evil one?" These are questions that came up during the century Milton wrote Paradise Lostand Paradise Regained; and also these were questions for the earlier Metaphysical English Poets such as John Donne, George Herbert, Andrew Marvell and Henry Vaughan (16th and 17th centuries). Such personal philosophical questions were important to them as well to me; they still are obviously.

These questions were in your head many years before you confronted an Angelic Presence directly. You have often wondered if your imagination set you up with such a confrontation theoretically so you could answer the question for yourself. Is this not so? - Amorella

2119 hours. It is. I have such an imagination to run such scenarios because it allows me to think beyond the boxes, so to speak.

Enough for tonight. Post. - Amorella
